| Many years ago we were asked to frame a signed football shirt. Something we had never done before, but we gave it some thought and came up with system to stretch the shirt and hold into a frame. The customer was delighted with the finished result. Since that first one we have refined the method we use to display any item of clothing. We have now framed 100’s of shirts of all types, including some signed by very famous sports men and a couple of women. | |
A contrasting colour bevel cut mount around the outside of the shirt can add to the presentation increasing the size and also the finished price. We can also supply an engraved plaque to remember the occasion, to describe the team details or commemorate a presentation award, a birthday or a retirement gift. Signed shirts are stretched to display any signatures to their advantage. A contrasting colour background board is used to hold the shirt in place. We have a varied selection of suitable frames. Prices are dependent on the finished size and the style of frame. But can be around £50 to £70 We usually recommend a plain style of moulding, black or black & silver, alternatively a plain gold or silver aluminum. But any style frame can be used.
